If
you are only coming into town for the wedding and leaving shortly thereafter,
you may want to consider NOT renting a car. Both
hotels offer a complimentary car service within a 3-5 mile radius and fairly
inexpensive airport transportation is available.
On
the wedding day:

The
Doubletree Hotel is located next to the ceremony site.

A
complimentary shuttle will be provided for Sheraton guests to the ceremony.
·
We
are currently planning on walking from the ceremony to the reception site;
however, shuttles will be available for the sore-of-feet.

A
complimentary shuttle will be provided back to both hotels from the reception.
From/to
the airport:
For
$12 per one-way fare (for both adults and children), AirportBus offers service
between LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) and Pasadena area hotels:

pick up outside the baggage claim areas at all terminals at the RED
overhead BUS STOP sign located
on the center island. Passengers
should look for the buses with a "Los Angeles/Pasadena"
destination sign in the front window and AirportBus

departs LAX airport to Pasadena every hour on the hour from 8:00am
to 9:00pm. Travel
time is approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
Drop-off points are the Hilton Pasadena, the Doubletree and the
Sheraton Pasadena. | |

claim area or call (800) 938-8933 and ask for Dispatch.
Return
to LAX from Pasadena
| AirportBus
departs from the Hilton Pasadena, the Doubletree or the Sheraton Pasadena.
Departure starts at 4:30am
from the Pasadena Hilton and departs every hour on the half hour
until 7:30pm.
The Doubletree is 35
after the hour and the Sheraton Pasadena is 40
after the Hour. The travel time
is 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Pasadena Hilton.
Passengers
should check with the hotel front desk, concierge or bell desk for the times
and location that AirportBus
services their hotel.| If
you would like to purchase tickets in advance, you can do so at the Pasadena
Hilton front desk. | Due
to added security, airport authorities recommend passengers arrive
at the airport 2 hours prior to domestic
flights and 3 hours prior to international flights.
AirportBus suggests passengers allow
two hours from pick up at their hotel to arrival at Los Angeles

you are planning to rent a car, all major rental car companies are represented
at LAX. We suggest making your
reservations ahead of time: this will save you money and will protect you
against shortages due to the many tourists and conventions that flood Los
Angeles.

Pasadena Area Rapid Transit System (ARTS) is a transit service designed to
provide free and convenient transportation between many of the City’s
residential neighborhoods and retail, business and entertainment centers.

If
you are planning to extend your stay to take in some of Los Angeles’ many
attractions, we suggest that you rent a car.
Alternatives include arranging paid shuttle service through your
hotel’s concierge desk or trying out the new subway
system (but this does not currently run to Pasadena; the nearest stops are
at Universal City and downtown Los Angeles).
We do NOT suggest taking the bus (the ARTS is an exception).
